Golf like it’s summer — all year round. The Golf Team at the St. Marys Golf and Country Club is excited to announce they have entered into a lease agreement for an indoor golf simulator for the winter season, 2020-21.
The golf simulator is expected to arrive mid-December, and will be available for indoor golfing from December through to the start of the following golf season.
Golfers can play indoors at 27 unique golf courses from around the world, featuring Banff Springs and Whistler (Canada), Cabo del Sol (Mexico), Grand National and Pinehurst No. 8 (United States), Taghazout (Morocco), and many more. Players can book up to a maximum of four golfers at one time and must book tee-times in advance online or by phone (more information below).
“We are thrilled to extend the golf season into the winter months,” says Matt Staffen, General Manager and Director of Golf at St. Marys G&CC. “With all the excitement in the golf industry right now and with many snowbirds staying home for the season, we feel like it’s a natural extension of our golf services.
“We look forward to welcoming golfers to the Club to play golf in a safe and socially-distanced environment,” he adds.
Available five days a week
The indoor golf simulator will be available to the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Rates are $40 per hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and $50 per hour on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Online tee-time booking coming soon.
While playing indoor golf, patrons can also enjoy food and beverages from the golf club’s full-service restaurant, Social Thirty-One.
