73% turnout for riding
As expected, incumbent Conservative MP John Nater was re-elected by a wide margin in the riding of Perth-Wellington. He increased his vote total by over 3,200 as compared to the last election, while the Liberal vote with Pirie Mitchell, fell by close to 4,600. The other party that saw a large increase was the Green Party with Collan Simmons as their candidate, whose total went from 1,347 in the last election to 4,882 this time. The overall turnout for the riding was 73%.
