St. Marys Ford offering free shuttle service
With a new location, an engaging host and an all-star special guest, the St. Marys Healthcare Foundation’s June 8th gala will be a memorable night – but time is running out to be a part of this special evening!
Even with the increased capacity that comes with hosting this gala evening on the Rock Rink of the Pyramid Recreation Centre, there’s only a handful of tickets still available, says foundation chair Pat Craigmile.
“We’ve been amazed by the response to this year’s gala,” says Craigmile. “Everyone’s excited to see hockey great Curtis “CuJo” Joseph and have a great time for a great cause.”
CuJo isn’t the only notable name at this year’s gala; the evening’s MC is Angie Hill from the namesake morning show on 99.5FM Kitchener.
“Angie will definitely get our party started,” says Foundation executive director Krista Linklater. “Anyone who listens to her morning show knows what a fun wake-up call she is!”
This year, the fun begins before the doors open to the gala. Bring your own camera, as fans are welcome to attend a free photo op session with CuJo between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m. in the Pyramid Recreation Centre foyer, thanks to the generosity of gala title sponsor Scotiabank.
And, thanks to the generosity of St. Marys Ford, gala revelers will arrive home safely. St. Marys Ford is providing a free shuttle service for St. Marys and immediate surrounding area, so that no one need worry about how to get home. The shuttle will leave the event every 30 minutes, starting at 10:00 p.m. with last shuttle at 1:00 a.m.
“It is truly touching that we have seen such enthusiasm for our gala, whether it’s sponsorships, live and silent auction items, or other contributions which will surely make this our best gala ever,” says Craigmile.
