Finish sixth overall in H-P with 5-5 record
LISTOWEL – The DCVI Junior boys basketball team lost a very fast-paced game against a well-prepared Lightning team 54-30, here on the afternoon of Feb. 8.
The Salukis fell behind 14-3 by the end of the first quarter and could not close the gap from there in the Huron-Perth quarter-final playoff game.
“Although we out-scored them from the foul line by a margin of 8-0 in the first half, we did not score from the field until early in the second quarter,” assistant coach Gregg Blackler reported.
