Toy drive at Canadian Tire on Saturday

St. Marys Lincs helping out

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The bustle of the holiday season is all around and the countdown is on. In just a few weeks, families across Perth County will awaken to the sounds of excited children and the sight of presents beneath the tree.

However, amongst all of the smiles and anticipation are also feelings of worry and stress. Several parents in our community are struggling as they realize that they may not have presents to wrap this year.  Together, we can prevent this.

The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary Unit, the St. Marys Lincolns and the Salvation Army are asking for your help. Join us in St. Marys or Listowel on Saturday December 9, 2017 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for toy drives at the following locations: Canadian Tire- 84 Wellington Street, St. Marys, Walmart- 600 Mitchell Road, Listowel

The Salvation Army provides Christmas toy and food hampers for those who need assistance and depends upon the kindness and generosity of the public. Include attending a toy drive location in your day on Saturday and help to make this season brighter for a child in our community. All donations will be gratefully accepted.

The Perth County OPP Auxiliary Unit thanks the staff at Walmart, Canadian Tire, the team members of the St. Marys Lincolns and the community for their support of these worthwhile events.
