Dunny’s Atom AE Rock win Blenheim tourney

Just two weeks after winning the International Silver Stick Regional Finals, the Dunny’s Atom AE Rock hockey team were at it again this past weekend in Blenheim. In the Golden Acres Tournament in Blenheim, the Rock cruised through the three-game round robin, defeating their opposition by a combined score of 26-1. In the tournament finals against Chatham, St. Marys won by a 7-1 margin.

This season in Shamrock League play, the Dunny’s Atom AE is ranked first in the standings with a record of 13-3-1. The team is comprised of goaltenders Isaac Cousineau and Trevor Aarts, defensemen Connor Hall, Greysen Porter, Nathan Wolfkamp, Brody Tubman and Danny Switzer, and forwards Connor Wheeler, Ty Wheeler, Jared Ballantyne, Myles Clinton, Jonah Lariviere, Simon Greig, Sam Johnson, Grier Mahoney, Brody Higham and Finn Wright. Head coach is Sean Porter along with assistant coaches Jared Frayne, Greg Wolfkamp, trainer Doug Johnson and manager Mike Hall.
