CJ Bear “kidnapped”

Reunion on this Sunday

Last week we reported that Teddy Bears’ Reunion “Goodwill Ambassador” CJ Bear was visiting Iceland on his latest tour. Well, the unthinkable has happened. CJ has been “kidnapped” and is missing. Terry Todd, who took CJ to Iceland, explained the disappearance of the bear to the Independent. “While hiding in a back pack while I was at the Blue Lagoon swimming pool getting changed, someone made off with my stuff. It was just a matter of a couple of minutes” Todd said. He reasoned that he will be receiving a “ransom note” for the return of CJ ‘and hopefully we can get him home unharmed”. Todd said that the Canadian Embassy and the police were notified because his passport was also taken. “Stay tuned for the news of our Goodwill Ambassador” Todd said.

Meanwhile the annual Teddy Bears’ Reunion will be held this Sunday. Organizer Marlene Forman said that everything is in readiness for another successful event. The Reunion starts with the parade at the High School starting at 1 PM and will proceed to East Ward Park where all the fun family events will be held. Among the “fun events” will be a Jumping Castle, Paddle Boats, Sno-Cones and a Teddy Bear Repair table, to name a few. So come and bring your favourite Teddy and remember that the Teddy Bear Judging will start at 2.30 PM.
