Graham family: Three Generations of Egg Farming

This past week, the Graham family of St. Marys was featured in a series of short videos released online by the Egg Farmers of Ontario, as the organization takes time to celebrate some exceptional family farms that exist across our province.

Scott Graham, the present manager of Graholm Farms, provided an overview of their farm in the initial video. “Mom and Dad moved here in 1953 and started in the poultry business, I’ve been involved since 1975 and now Brett’s involved.”

Scott and Laurie Graham have three sons, Brett, Sean and Kevin who all loved growing up on the family farm. Sean and Kevin now are following their own path in Toronto while Brett represents the third generation of Grahams in the egg business.

“We’ve always encouraged the boys to do whatever they thought they wanted to do with their lives”, said Scott. “I’m certainly glad to have Brett back alongside, and he’s the eventual manager of our egg farm. I feel pretty good about that.”
