Quarry Cliff Jump

A large supportive crowd was in attendance this past Saturday for the opening of the new Cliff Jump platform at the St. Marys Quarry. The event was taken to another level of promotion thanks to the gang from Today’s Country BX93 and regular listener “Brian from St. Marys” who encouraged the BX93 folks to visit the Stonetown and make an event out of it. Above, the BX93 team poses for a picture with Brian Harris and Mayor Al Strathdee before taking the plunge.

“Brian from St. Marys” emerges from the Quarry after taking the initial jump off the new Cliff Jump platform. Great job Brian for helping bring such great exposure to the town!

Mayor Al Strathdee soars from the Cliff Jump platform last Saturday. Later, during the post-jump festivities, Strathdee presented our friends from BX93 with “honorary citizen of St. Marys” plaques and presented “Brian from St. Marys” with a framed key to the Quarry for his promotional efforts.
