Thorndale Farm Supply had their open house this past Saturday. This is a local event not to be missed. In addition to the many sales in the store on locally grown and made products, there were lots of things for the kids to see and do. There were baby chicks, goats, rabbits, and twin calves. Kids could reach out and touch these animals. There was also face painting. Penelope the cow dropped by for a visit and you could get a tour of the Mill. I Love Thorndale was set up serving bacon on a bun and some homemade baked goods. The weather was beautiful and the event was a great success.
