Thank you Jump Start

CanadianTireMayor Al Strathdee and Town staff and students from Little Falls School, were at the PRC to thank Canadian Tire St. Marys for all the generous donations they provide from the proceeds of Jump Start to help the youth of the community. The St. Marys Youth Centre has received close to $5000 from Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities over the past year. The funding has been used to purchase new sporting equipment for the facility, including balls, nets, racquets, frisbees and more. The new equipment has contributed to the growing popularity of the Youth Centre, which has seen a recent boost in membership, from 47 in 2016 to 173 to date. Over the last six years Jump Start has contributed close to $50,000 in the community. All the money raised in St. Marys stays in St. Marys.
