Heinz plant sold

New owner from Tillsonburg

The former Kraft-Heinz building has a new owner. E & E McLaughlin from Tillsonburg are the new owners. The company has confirmed that the sale closed on Friday April 21st. The company is a family owned business owned by Ewart and Edwin McLaughlin, and are involved in commercial and industrial warehousing and logistics.. The company brands itself as “a building recycler” and specializes in taking an existing single-use buildings and dividing them into multiple uses. One of their other recent acquisitions was purchasing the Kellogg’s building in London, Ontario, after the plant closed. Kraft Heinz closed the plant in 2016 with a loss of over 200 jobs.
