St. Marys man charged in stabbing

On Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at approximately 1:30 p.m. the Perth County OPP and paramedics responded to a reported stabbing, at a residence on Jones Street West in the Town of St Marys. This had occurred between two men known to each other.

The victim was taken to a London area hospital by Perth County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with a non-life threatening injury.

Forty-four-year-old Paul McNabb of St Marys has been charged with assault causing bodily harm under the Criminal Code.  He was held in custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

This was an isolated incident, police are not looking for any other suspect(s) and there is no threat to public safety.
