Community Players offering Theatre Equipment Management Workshop

Pre-Registration required for January 14th orientation at Town Hall

Are you interested in the behind-the-scenes aspect of theatre productions?  Then consider registering for the orientation workshop to be held at the Town Hall on January 14th.  This two-hour workshop is designed for persons with a possible interest in volunteering for tech positions with the theatre equipment used by St. Marys Community Players.

Topics will include operation and maintenance of equipment with focus on lighting, sound, curtains, head sets, computer set up and control booth. Other equipment topics include fog machine, spot lights, and fall arrest for safety.

Those who decide to become involved in tech roles with SMCP will have hands-on equipment opportunities in future theatre productions.

This is a Free Seminar.  Only those pre-registered can attend.

The orientation will be held at the St. Marys Town Hall Theatre on Saturday, January 14 from 1:00 – 3:00pm.  Participants are requested to arrive by 12:45 p.m.
