The St. Marys DCVI Senior Girls Basketball Team played a pair of home games on Monday, Oct. 3 against St. Anne’s and South Huron, winning both to improve to 3-1 on the season. The Sr. Salukis played St. Anne’s first. It was a back-and-forth game, but DCVI entered the second half of a one-point game with determination. St. Marys eventually pulled away to a 48-33 victory. In the afternoon, they cruised to a 38-15 win over the South Huron Panthers, out-stealing and out-shooting their opponents.

Also in action was DCVI’s Junior Girls Basketball Team. They dropped a pair of games, falling 36-18 to St. Anne’s and 51-22 to South Huron, their best offensive effort of the season to date.
