On Thursday, Aug. 18, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to five mischief calls in St.Marys involving tires having been slashed on vehicles.
The calls received were from residents on James St. N., Queen St. E., Jones St. E., Elizabeth St. E, and Rogers Ave. Investigation indicates that the tires were slashed sometime between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, and 6:00 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, however it may have occurred prior to 12:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
