St. Marys Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School Donation

In recognition of its last day, the St. Marys Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School made some charitable presentations to a number of local groups at the church on Friday, Aug. 19. Pictured, Salvation Army Family Services Coordinator Pam McGirr accepts $417.20 on behalf of the Salvation Army's Backpack Program that will provide much-needed backpacks and school supplies to local boys and girls. $250 of the donation came from the St. Marys Presbyterian Church, while $167.20 was raised through a coin drive by the kids attending the Presbyterian Church's Vacation Bible School. Also visible in the photo are a pair of blankets completed by the bible school attendees that will be given to Community Living St. Marys and Area.
