On Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at McDonald’s Independent Grocer, St. Marys Lincolns players and executive members were on hand grilling up burgers and hotdogs that had been donated by the grocery store along with an assortment of drinks and condiments. Besides the food, which was available for free or by donation, season tickets for the team’s upcoming 60th season were also on sale for the bargain price of $99. “It was a great day, enjoyed by all,” said GM Glen Childerley, thanking the grocery store for its support before adding “we’re excited to get people in the seats this season.” Pictured armed with a selection of burger fixings are Lincolns players Garrett Nelson, Kyle Morning, Ryan Martin, Ryan Langford and Brody Smith. Beyond them, GM Glen Childerley and the team’s new trainer Mark Childerley, Glen’s son, can be seen serving a customer.
