The break-in took place during the overnight hours and involved entry into the residence while the homeowners were asleep. Multiple items including credit cards were stolen from a purse left in the kitchen of the home. Car keys were also removed from the home. These keys were used to enter a vehicle parked near the home.

Investigators followed a trail of purchases made on the stolen credit cards. This resulted in a suspect being identified.

He was released on a Promise to Appear and is to appear at the Stratford Court of Justice on Monday June 20, 2016, to answer to these charges.
