DCVI Girls Slo-Pitch team Vs. South Huron

Our team of the week is the St. Marys DCVI Grade 11-12 Girls Slo-Pitch Team. They were one of a pair of teams from the local high school competing in the Girls High School Slo-Pitch Tournament held at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame diamonds yesterday. Pictured, back row, from left, are: coach Ruthann Waldick, Amanda Lawson, Hannah Kooy, Arly Mitchell, Robyn Henderson, Jensen Dundas, Hailee Thomson, Ashlyn Maxwell, Aimee King, Alba Claudio, Joanne Armstrong, and coach Sue Lawrence. Eight squads from seven schools were in action, including Mitchell, Stratford Central, Stratford Northwestern, St. Anne’s, Listowel, South Huron, DCVI Grade 9-10 and DCVI Grade 11-12.
