Over 20 employees from McLean Taylor Construction Ltd. were on hand in Rannoch Monday morning when the business presented a cheque for $200,000 to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation as part of the foundation’s ongoing Someone I Know Capital Campaign. President Scott Taylor, just to the left of the cheque, was joined by vice presidents Ken McLean and Mike Doupe (holding the cheque) in presenting the donation to foundation fundraising coordinator Krista Linklater, foundation chair John McIntosh and fundraising chair Pat Craigmile (to the right of the cheque).
But their donation doesn’t end there. McLean Taylor has also announced that they will be further supporting the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation’s fundraising campaign by issuing a gift matching challenge. Between May 2 and May 31, they have pledged to double all donations made to the campaign by McLean Taylor employees, up to $25,000.
McLean Taylor currently employs about 175 people, though that number could move to as high as 200 later this summer, Taylor said.
