Justine Dickey, a long time resident of Lucan, recently decided to donate 10 inches of her hair to cancer in support of her grandmother, Barb Miller.

Miller was diagnosed with terminal cancer last December and has since been putting forth a strong fight with the loving support of her family.

“My grandmother has had a real impact on my life,” said Justine. “And her struggle inspired me to donate my hair in honour of her.”

Justine, who made the donation after having her hair cut Feb. 10 at Fringe Hair Spa in Ilderton, currently goes to school at Fanshawe College while also balancing her work at New Orleans Pizza in Lucan.
