Teammates Adam Peachey, left, and Landon Lichti, from the St. Marys White Mite team, chase the puck Wednesday afternoon during a game against South Huron. It was part of Mite Fun Day, hosted by St. Marys Minor Hockey at the Pyramid Centre Wednesday. Following the game, both teams received Timbits Hockey medals.

The Atom BB’s have an uphill battle they must now climb. This weekend, the team will return to St. Marys as they host game three of their OMHA Championship series with Collingwood. Game one in St. Marys was a 3-0 win for Collingwood. St. Marys dominated the first period but Collingwood gained confidence as the game progressed and scored a couple of goals on second chances, then added an empty netter for the third goal. In game two, the team again put in a very good showing, however came up short in overtime, dropping game two 4-3. That loss gave Collingwood a 2-0 series lead. The series is a best three out of five.
